Location: WK Medical Center Department: Emergency Department - ED-Emergency Dept Classification: Full-Time Shift: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM Date Posted: 3/11/2024 Description: We are seeking a Staff RN in our ever expanding, fast paced Emergency Department. Our acuity level and admission rates are consistently high due to our transplant patient population and our Chest pain accreditation.  In this 22 bed department you will have the opportunity to work with board certified Physicians who depend on your strong assessment skills, critical thinking and independent decision making ability to safely expedite patient care.  Unit Clerks and ancillary staff are an intricate part of this professional team.  Orientation is provided for experienced ED RN's, seasoned staff who wish to cross train into emergency medicine and the "right" new graduate who exhibits the knowledge level, work ethic and motivation necessary to successfully care for our patients.  Your orientation will be based on your experience and level of comfort.  ACLS and PALS are required certifications but can be obtained through our Career Institute free of charge to our employees.  Experienced staff are our first consideration and TNCC would be plus!  You will find our department equipped with state of the art equipment and an electronic documentation system.
