Willis-Knighton is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to work in our Satellite Clinic setting on a per diem basis. Under the supervision of the attending Physician, the Ultrasonographer must perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for the subsequent evaluation and treatment of patients. The candidate must possess ultrasound techniques to perform exams, with special attention to obstetric, gynecological, which will include abdominal doppler and transvaginal ultrasound. The job responsibilities include but are not limited to transferring patients and maintaining records of examination data and pertinent information on patients.
The candidate must be a graduate of an approved school of radiologist technology required by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist. Licensed by the State of Louisiana is required with completion of an Abdominal/Obstetrical Gynelcological course. The applicant must also be eligible to meet board certification or registered in abdominal/Obstetrical Gynecologist, as set forth by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARMS).
