Location: Oaks of Louisiana Department: Campus & Grounds Classification: Full-Time Shift: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Date Posted: 4/11/2023 Description: The Oaks of Louisiana Campus & Grounds Department is seeking an energetic individual to work as a groundskeeper/gardener who has experience in landscaping and lawn care.  This individual must be interested in being part of a dynamic team that cares for a profoundly beautiful and expanding retirement community consisting of the finest local independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities around.  The individual must be knowledgeable and experienced in both using and maintaining lawn care equipment which includes tractors, mowers, weed eaters, edgers, blowers, and chainsaws; they also must be tolerant of seasonal heat and cold.  The candidate must be able to work alone as directed and as part of a team to perform necessary grooming tasks around the campus grounds.  Required minimal qualifications are to be a high school graduate with two (2) years campus and grounds care experience.  Benefits available include health, dental, vision, life and long-term disability insurance, and a company sponsored retirement plan.
