The Home Care Department of Willis-Knighton is an exciting and rewarding place to work and is seeking an experienced Insurance Biller to join our team. This position requires the candidate to perform all duties necessary for billing and collections related to Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial Insurance. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing and reconciling all daily, weekly and monthly reports, as well as providing information and assistance to external auditors. This individual should be self-motivated, have the ability to work independently, and possess excellent organizational skills as well as excellent attendance.
We are seeking an individual who has at least two (2) years of experience in Insurance Billing and Authorizations, preferably in Home Health or Hospice, and possesses excellent communication skills. The qualifications are a high school diploma and preferably some business school or college. Previous work experience in Insurance Claims, Billing, Collections, Accounting and/or Bookkeeping is essential. The candidate will be required to attend a hospital-wide orientation as well as a focused departmental specific orientation.
