An exciting job opportunity awaits you in Centralized Monitoring! Our 30 bed telemetry unit cares for a wide variety of patient diagnosis. Job responsibilities include interpreting and analyzing continuous telemetry monitoring for patients with cardiac problems, troubleshooting problems with monitor reception, ensured proper lead placement, pick up and delivery of monitors to each floor, and cleaning of the transmitters and cables after each patient use. A telemetry certification is required. Check with the Career Institute for a schedule of classes. An orientation will be provided based on your experience and level of comfort. Candidates with telemetry experience are preferred but the inexperienced candidate that exhibits the willingness to learn and has a excellent past work history may be considered for the position.
