Location: WK South Department: Nursing Service - NS-Inpatient Surgery Classification: Full-Time Shift: 6:30 AM-3:00 PM Date Posted: 1/10/2023 Description: Our Willis-Knighton South campus is seeking OR scrub technicians to work 0630am-300pm. The applicant must be a certified surgical technologist, or eligible to become certified, to assist our professional staff. OR experience is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply. Our services include General Surgery, GYN, ENT, Maxillofacial Surgery, Urology, Robotic and Laparoscopic Surgery, Pediatric, Neuro and NICU Surgeries. We will choose the candidate with a positive attitude, exhibits enthusiasm, and has demonstrated a consistent, responsible work history.  Call will be required with a 30-minute mandatory response time.  Your job responsibilities will include but are not limited to: assisting all Surgical staff members, ensuring each patient receives optimal care, follow all the national patient safety goals, assist with case preparation, assist in draping patients, instrument counts, assuring all supplies are available and equipment is in proper working order prior to all procedures.
