CDU (Clinical Decision Unit) is offering an opportunity for a Registered Nurse who is interested in working 8-hour shifts. Would you like to work 7 shifts and be off 7 shifts? Would you like to work 56 hours and be paid for 72 hours and still be considered full time? If you are ready for a fast-paced unit, with a variety of med/surg/telemetry patients, this is the floor for you. CDU has 15 beds and is located on 3 North. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:5, with a nursing assistant as support staff. We are looking for energetic, motivated, organized Registered Nurses with exceptional critical thinking skills. Communication and collaboration with physicians and specific documentation requirements occur on this unit. Patient education is a big focus. Must be flexible and open to new ideas/changes. Sign on bonus for med/surg is offered with a 2-year ($12,000) or 3-year ($20,000) agreement. If you fit this description and are up to a challenge, please apply.
