Willis-Knighton is seeking a National Registry EMT - Basic who attends patients transported by the Willis-Knighton Ambulance service. The EMT must have current BLS certification and the ability to obtain Louisiana license appropriate certification level. This part time EMT position job duties include but not limited to:
- Ambulance inspections for cleanness and proper equipment and medical supplies
-Keeping ready response vehicle for patient transports daily
-Will work cooperatively with other transport team members & demonstrates good public relation skills in dealing with physicians, nurses, hospitals, and referral agencies.
They will also maintain professional behavior and represent Willis-Knighton in a positive manner. At least one year of experience in patient care is required for this position and you must have a clear chauffeurs driver's license.
