The BioMed Department is in search of a BioMedical Engineer IV. The applicant must be proficient in the use of basic and advanced test equipment, hand tools and computers. They must also be proficient in reading electrical/mechanical schematics and follow signal flow in complex circuits. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: ordering parts and completing all associated paper work involved in the repair of medical equipment; must be able to communicate with vendors, administrative staff, department heads and physicians in technical and non-technical terms as needed; must have the ability to evaluate new equipment prior to purchase; and perform service and repairs as needed. The applicant is expected to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude!
- Must have a Degree or higher formal training in electronics or at least 8 years of experience in medical electronics service and repair
- Must have the ability to service and repair Bio-Medical and Radiographic equipment with no supervision
- Must not be color blind
