WKB 2 West is looking for an energetic and self-motivated RN for our 30 bed Orthopedic/Med Surg unit. The nurse will need to have good assessment and communication skills and a willingness to be a team player! Our staff provide experienced care for post-op Orthopedic patients along with other Med Surg patients. Our common orthopedic surgical procedures include Total Joint Replacements such as knees and hips. The nurse/patient ratio is 5:1 with a Charge RN and Nursing Assistants as support staff. Self-scheduling is available for this 12-hour 7A shift or you can opt for a set rotating schedule. Orientation for a new grad is up to 12 weeks with a 1:1 preceptor. Willis Knighton also offers a Nurse Residency Program for the first year to provide additional support for the new nurse. Experience nurses will also be provided an orientation based on experience and comfort level.
