Description:
WK North GI is expanding! Our current GI Lab has five procedure rooms with 1:1 care and thirteen pre-op/recovery bays with 1:3 ratio. This position requires critical thinking skills, pre & post assessment, moderate sedation, as well as administration & physio control monitoring of patients during a procedure. Orientation & cross training into this unit is specific to each individual with experienced staff readily available for guidance. Experience in PACU or ICU is preferred.
On call hours required so applicant should live within 30 minutes of WKMC. Location flexibility may be required as staff is sometimes floated to other GI Lab sites. Support staff is an intricate part of the team on this unit. ACLS is required but can be obtained through our Career Institute. All motivated individuals with excellent work ethic please apply!!
