Location: WK South Department: Anesthesia - Anesthesia-CRNA Classification: Full-Time Shift: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM Date Posted: 5/11/2023 Description: Willis-Knighton South is a great place for both the new graduate and the experienced CRNA to practice!! It provides the new graduate with a wide range of Nurse Anesthesia experience, helping him or her to develop the skills necessary to not only practice but to be more than competent in any situation that might arise in their career. This position is also an excellent choice for the experienced CRNA providing challenging and rewarding opportunities to increase proficiency, gain more knowledge and experience growth in their Nurse Anesthesia practice! Willis-Knighton South CRNAs are supervised by an excellent staff of Anesthesiologists. Case types vary from elective, outpatient procedures to complex laparoscopic, orthopedic, and vascular procedures, along with an opportunity to provide anesthesia for Obstetrical, pediatric, infant and neonatal patients. New graduates at Willis-Knighton South will learn under an excellent staff of CRNAs and Anesthesiologists at a pace that is comfortable and safe. Our surgical staff readily accepts new graduate CRNAs and is very easy to work with during the transition to "experienced" CRNA. The experienced CRNAs will find surgeons to be "CRNA friendly" and extremely skillful.
