Registered Nurse (RN ST)

Location: WK Medical Center Department: Nursing Service - NS-4 West Classification: Full-Time Shift: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM Date Posted: 5/2/2023 Description: This is a 27 bed combined medical surgical telemetry unit that cares for a variety of diagnosis. The patients admitted to this floor are generally acute but do not require a step-down unit. The desired staffing ratio for this unit is 5 patients to 1 nurse, along with the support of ancillary staff to provide quality care. It is a fast paced and challenging environment. Teamwork is essential.  Your orientation will consist of 3 weeks for experienced nurses or 12 weeks for new graduates with a preceptor. New Graduates and seasoned nurses cross training into this area may be enrolled in a telemetry course and the Medical/Surgical course at the discretion of the manager. ACLS required. We are currently seeking motivated individuals interested in a rewarding career.
