Registered Nurse (RN ST)

Location: WK Bossier Department: Nursing Service - NS-SICU Classification: Full-Time Shift: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM Date Posted: 5/15/2023 Description: Willis-Knighton Bossier is seeking an RN for our 10 bed ICU unit, which is both medical and surgical. The typical diagnosis includes: respiratory failure, sepsis, multi-system organ failure, renal failure, and post-op surgeries just to name a few. The job responsibilities include but not limited to: frequent hemodynamic monitoring, titration of vasopressors or vasodilators, maintaining ventilators, and maintaining invasive lines. The patient to nurse ratio is typically 2:1 and teamwork is highly encouraged. This shift works a 5/2 schedule which is typically better for night shift workers, however, a traditional schedule can be done also. ACLS is preferred and is available at our Training and Development Center at no cost to employees.
