Medical Assistant

We are seeking an energetic medical assistant to work in a multi provider pediatric clinic on the WK Bossier campus. This position must be a high school graduate and have also graduated from an approved medical assistant program. We are looking for an MA who demonstrates great work ethics, dependability and the ability to work as a team. The medical assistant will provide nursing care under the supervisor of the clinic physician. The job responsibilities will include but not limited to the following: Triaging and assessing the health status of the patients and collaborate with the physician to establish patient care procedures. Medication management, phoning in prescriptions, medication administration to include immunizations as well as computer documentation and assisting in pre authorizations and referrals. The medical assistant will assist in procedures and scheduling lab and X-rays. National certification and pediatric experience preferred.  Our office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, No weekends and holidays. Excellent salary and benefits package offered.
