Lab Assistant

Location: WK Medical Center Department: Clinic - Float Classification: Full-Time Shift: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Date Posted: 3/9/2023 Description: We  are seeking an experienced Laboratory Assistant or MLT to add to our team.  The applicant must have a current Louisiana State License as a Laboratory Assistant or MLT and experience in phlebotomy.  The Lab Assistant or MLT will need to demonstrate strong work ethic, dependability, and most importantly, share in our atmosphere of teamwork.  The candidate will need to possess a solid knowledge of responsibilities as a licensed Laboratory Assistant and have the initiative to work independently.  Your job duties will include, but are not limited to phlebotomy, specimen collection, waived and moderately complex testing, including quality assurance  and quality control performance.
