Location: WK Medical Center Department: Radiology - Radiology-Breast Clinic Classification: Full-Time Shift: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Date Posted: 5/15/2023 Description: Willis-Knighton Breast Center is seeking a Mammogram Technologist for our Radiology Department. This position may require the employee to float to the various breast center facilities within the Willis-Knighton system. The job responsibilities will include but are not limited to; operating radiographic and PACS equipment to produce quality images, following radiation safety guidelines, communicating effectively with patients and caregivers and keeping proper documentation. Educationally, the applicant must be a Registered X-ray Technologist with ARRT and hold a license in Radiologic Technology by the LSRTBE. Advanced registry in Mammography is not required upon hire but will be required one year from hire date.  Reliable, trustworthy, organized, compassionate and excellent judgment will be the qualities we are looking for in the applicant.
