Description:
The candidate chosen for our inpatient rehabilitation Occupational Therapy position will work closely with other professional staff offering a broad spectrum of service for neurologic and orthopedically impaired clients. A strong emphasis is placed on activities of daily living to maximize each patient's functional potential. Energy, motivation, compassion and organization will be key considerations in choosing our candidate. The candidate must work well with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient care to the inpatient population.
In addition to the regular working hours, Monday through Friday, the Occupational Therapist will be required to work week end rotations. The applicant is required to be licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. A hospital and unit specific orientation will be provided to the candidate chosen for this position.
