Computer Support Technician I

Willis Knighton Health System is seeking a Computer Support Technician to be added to our team. The candidate will provide on site and remote IT support for Health Care System. Some of the job requirements are as listed: supporting computer users with installation of hardware/software components to meet departmental needs; diagnosing and troubleshooting problems in a domain environment in order to maintain proper functionality; resolving issues including hardware/software/connectivity in LAN/WAN/Wireless network; diagnosing and resolving moderate to complex end-user hardware/software problems; performing new computer configuration and implementing the workstation upgrade/replacement process; participation in the deployment of new software platforms; 24/7 rotating call schedule, and responding to hardware related repairs. This position is fast paced and requires critical thinking. The candidate must be able to learn new techniques quickly, be self motivated, and have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. A minimum of 5 years verifiable IT experience required. A+, NET+, MSDST certifications are preferred. The candidate will also be required to attend a hospital wide orientation.
