Registered Nurse (RN ST)

Location: WK South Department: Nursing Service - NS-Inpatient Surgery Classification: Full-Time Shift: 6:30 AM-3:00 PM Date Posted: 2/6/2023 Description: We are currently seeking to add a Registered Nurse to our staff.  Current surgical experience is a plus but we will consider new graduates as well as experienced RNs. An unencumbered Louisiana license or board eligibility is required. Our South facility offers a great work culture with a unique family atmosphere.  Your job responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: circulating, scrubbing, monitoring sterile field, chart audits, medication administration, surgical preparation, instrument counts, and documentation. ACLS and PALS are a plus but can be obtained through our career institute free of charge to employees. No weekends or holidays unless you are on call. Call is a mandatory job requirement for the position with a 30 minute response time. An orientation will be provided based on your experience and level of comfort.
