Registered Nurse (RN ST)

Location: WK South Department: Nursing Service - NS-Nursery ICU Classification: Full-Time Shift: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM Date Posted: 1/25/2023 Description: WKS NICU is seeking experienced RN staff for their Level III Surgical Intensive Care Unit.  NICU experience is preferred but any nursing experience will be considered. Bachelor degree in Nursing is required. The unit is a 50 bed unit with private rooms and rooms for multiples.  A team of Nurse Practitioners, Respiratory Therapists, Physical Therapists, Lactation Consultants and Social Workers assist nursing and medical staff in the care of our patients.  The unit provides air and ground transport to area hospitals needing to move their patients to a higher level of intensive neonatal care.  The unit is supported by several Pediatric/Neonatal surgical and specialty physicians.  The NICU staff RN will be cross-trained to PICU and Newborn Nursery.  Unit orientation is based on the experience level of the RN.  All NICU RN staff will complete the STABLE course and Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
