Location: Extended Care Center Department: Extended Care Center - ECC Administration Classification: Full-Time Shift: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Date Posted: 3/15/2023 Description: Extended Care Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to fill the Director of Nursing Services position. Extended Care Center is a 24-bed rehab skilled nursing facility. The Director of Nursing is responsible for overall nursing service supervision and management of assigned number of nursing units on an evening, night and weekend shift. The job responsibilities include but are not limited to: observe, evaluates and reports resident care activities, monitors and adjust staffing needs, perform and teach technical skills, maintain acceptable human relations, direct daily work activities for shift personnel, completes evaluations, initiates salary adjustments, and issues discipline and discharges. The individual is required to have previous rehab/ nursing home experience and must have knowledge of nursing home state and federal regulations. The candidate selected for this position will be required to attend a hospital wide orientation as well as a more departmental focused orientation upon hire.
